Welcome to PR and Communications Apprentices from Central Government

This month we are delighted to welcome the first 35 apprentices on JGA’s new multi-year contract with the Government Communications Service (GCS) to provide professional Public Relations and Communications apprenticeships across central government.

Led by Catherine O’Sullivan, formerly senior communications manager at the House of Commons, Metropolitan Police and Jacobs; coached by the experienced Anthony Milner and Robin Marks, the apprentices will have a career-changing and perhaps life-changing experience as they develop their communications professional skills, knowledge and behaviours.

We work with central and local government such as Defra, Cabinet Office, DHSC, House of Commons, London Borough of Camden, HS2, Manchester, Coventry and Bristol City Councils, and other parts of the public sector to provide apprenticeships focused on the public sector’s specific requirements.

Such has been the success of JGA’s work with public sector professions such as Communications and Policy that we are delighted to announce the launch of our new apprenticeship for the Counter Fraud profession, the level 4 Counter Fraud Investigator apprenticeship.

“In tandem with Policy, JGA’s communications apprenticeships have achieved great traction particularly within the public sector. With Counter Fraud and Digital Community Manager we now address on well-established profession and a brand new role which will facilitate transformational cost savings and service improvements across the range public sector bodies.”

Richard Goodwin, Managing Director

Finally, we need to say welcome to our new GCS clients at the Cabinet Office, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Home Office, Department for International Trade, FCDO (DFID), DCMS HMRC, MoD, DHSC, Ministry of Justice, BEIS, DEFRA, MHCLG and other acronyms!
