On the 9th of May, 100 West Londoners packed Ealing Picturehouse for the world premiere of the West London Film Competition entries. Hosted by the Hub and facilitated by JGA, the competition matched teams of students with professional mentors to develop technical skills, teamwork and professionalism.
The JGA Group and VMI partnered in early 2024 to run a six-Week Skills Bootcamp. This Skills Bootcamp aimed to empower and guide individuals interested in pursuing a career as production assistants in the Film and TV entertainment industry.

We have compiled a list of film and TV training options for West Londoners who want to work in media production and related disciplines.
JGA has been awarded the Mayor of London's Quality Mark for training provision to the creative sector.
Facilitated by the West London Film & TV Skills Hub and a network of screen focused creative enterprise zones, universities, colleges and training providers in West London are working hard to meet these challenges.
Three groups had 5 days to plan, shoot and edit a short film on either: 'West London – a great place to be creative' or 'Greening West London'. The West London College team chose ‘Greening West London’.
