The Junior Content Producer Apprentice (or ‘Creative Content Assistant’) is the creative soul of a marketing, communications or creative team.
The apprentice develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours to work to briefs, to research, prepare and develop media messaging and maximise audience engagement. Content creation is digital or traditional and is often multi-channel/multi-use.
This apprenticeship is right for the creative teams of large organisations, creative agencies and the media sector. We are delighted that JGA’s clients for JCP range from giant housing charity Peabody Trust to specialist video production experts Ginger Video.
The Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship is delivered over 15 months through monthly full-day workshops, coaching from a content production expert as well as virtual classroom and pre-recorded lessons. In fact “Apprentices…particularly appreciate being taught by experts who help to bring their subjects to life and make them relevant to their own workplace” (Ofsted 2019).
We deliver nationally, so check out the brochure to get the details and the prospectus to get an idea of some of the other apprenticeship programmes run by JGA.
All teaching is presently delivered remotely and there is an active programme of starts despite Covid-19.
Cohorts are accelerating off the job learning to provide stimulation and connection for furloughed apprentices. The second benefit from starting now is that in effect apprentices are trained whilst the majority of their employment costs are being covered by the government.
