Emilija Juseviciute crowned CIPR outstanding young communicator of the year

Huge congratulations to former JGA apprentice Emilija Juseviciute, who has been named Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Excellence Awards 2026.

The prestigious award recognises outstanding emerging talent in the communications profession, celebrating individuals who have already made a significant impact early in their careers.

Since completing her apprenticeship, Emilija has gone from strength to strength. After beginning her career with the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for Essex, she now works with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, helping to deliver communications that support public safety and save lives.

The team that originally supported Emilija’s apprenticeship sing her praises:

“I had the pleasure of skills coaching Emilija on what was my first cohort with JGA. We could all tell that she was destined for great things and her win comes as no surprise. I look forward to seeing Emilija’s star continue to rise in the world of PR and communications. We are all so proud of her achievement. Well done, Emilija!”

“I can say without hesitation that she was a standout learner. What set her apart was not just her grasp of PR and communications theory, but how naturally and skilfully she applied it. Her presentations were polished, confident and thoughtfully structured in a way that genuinely impressed me every time.

Beyond the skill itself, it was her character that made her truly exceptional. She carried herself with a calm, professional demeanour, showed real resilience whenever the programme challenged her, and remained humble throughout, never once losing sight of how much there still was to learn. That combination is rare, and it is a large part of what makes her a winner.”

Daniel Gordon

“I’m absolutely delighted, and not surprised, to hear about Emilija’s award. I’ve followed her development ever since first meeting her at JGA and she made a remarkable impression from day one. Being named Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year is a perfect reflection of the talent, dedication and professionalism she has worked so hard to build. Congratulations!”
