JGA’s 2025 Charity of the Year Winner Announced!

It is fabulous to be able to announce the result of the pitches to be the JGA Charity of the Year 2025.

Thank you to everyone who entered. Every charity which was pitched will receive at least a £100 donation and overall initial donations will total over £6,000.

Once again this year the standard of entries was very high. The judging panel had a hard time deciding. All the causes were very worthwhile, for many though the personal connection and feeling shone through the pitches.

First place: Liverpool School Sports Partnership pitched by Nathan Matthews, Content Creator apprentice, won £2,500.

Liverpool School Sport Partnership (LSSP) is a partnership for schools that works strategically with others to promote, develop and enhance PE, sports and physical activity for young people living in the Liverpool area. Well done Nathan for making a great pitch for a deserving cause.

Second place: MS Society pitched by Samantha Randall, Multi Channel Marketer apprentice from 8×8 UK, won £1,500.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society is the UK’s largest charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis, funding research, campaigning for social and political change and providing services that help people with multiple sclerosis and their families.

Third place: Suicide Crisis pitched by Leah Carey, Service Designer apprentice from National Highways, won £1,000.

Suicide Crisis runs an award-winning Suicide Crisis Centre providing innovative face-to-face crisis support and a Learning Centre which focuses on research, training and supporting innovation in suicide prevention.

The other recipients are Dogs Trust, Project 21, Amref Health Africa, Recovery Assistance Dogs, RAWD, Liverpool Womens Hospital, upReach, Action for Children, EMERGE 3R, Imago Dei Prison Ministry, Kent Parents and Carers Together (Kent PACT).

Congratulations to everyone involved and a special thank you to our judges Joel Voysey (Fundraiser apprenticeship tutor), Anthony Milner (Photography, Marketing & Content Creator tutor/coach), Leigh Torrance (Head of Delivery) and Richard Goodwin (Managing Director).
