“As a result of The Bootcamp, I have gained freelance full-time employment and broadened my prospects. This began with achieving roles as a production assistant for a variety of commercials and music videos.

I have since gained employment as an assistant buyer and in scripting. Most recently, I have directed and edited shorts, which are commissioned by museums.

The Bootcamp enabled me to successfully develop my ideas and enhanced my awareness of the skills that can support this. I am now able to network with professionalism, and therefore have gained invaluable advice and continual professional development opportunities. All of which widen my visibility to prior and prospective employers.”

Since securing my role at Drool Productions, I’m not only working in a job I love but also feeling much happier overall. Working in the film industry has always been my dream, and now that I’m doing something I’m passionate about, [the Skills Bootcamp has] had a positive impact on my well-being. The sense of fulfilment and excitement I feel each day at work is something I hadn’t experienced in years, and it has greatly improved my mental and emotional health.”
