This course develops the knowledge and skills required to become an adult care worker in domiciliary settings. Get equipped to support individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health and social care procedures.

At the end of the course you will receive the newly launched qualification, NCFE CACHE Level 3 Technical Occupational Entry in Adult Care (Diploma).
To be eligible for the programme, you must be currently working or volunteering in a care setting.

- Handling Information in Adult Care
- Promote Own Continuing Personal and Professional Development
- Person-Centred Practice, Choice and Independence
- Understand How to Promote Personal Wellbeing
- Promote Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Human Rights in Care Settings
- Promote Health, Safety and Wellbeing in Care Settings
- Support the Health and Wellbeing of Individuals in a Care Setting
- Scope and Responsibilities of an Adult Care Worker
- Understand Duty of Care
- Safeguarding and Protection in Care Settings
- Understand Mental Capacity and Restrictive Practices
- Maintain Infection Prevention and Control in a Care Setting
Learners also select a combination of optional units to gain.
Delivery
The course is delivered through 3 hours a week of live, interactive, teaching via Microsoft Teams, plus coaching, virtual classrooms and pre-recorded lessons. All teaching is presently delivered remotely.

You may be eligible for a free course if:
- This is your first level 3 qualification
- You are a UK resident and have lived in the UK or the EU for the last three years
- You are aged 19+
- You live in London
