Prevention and Control of Infection Level 2
Duration: 10 weeks
This NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate is made up of 3 mandatory knowledge units and will build on your knowledge and awareness of the prevention and control of infection.
The course is aimed at those working or interested in working in health settings, adult or child care settings and school settings.
The qualification will look at:
- the principles of infection prevention and control
- causes and spread of infection
- cleaning, decontamination and waste management
Delivery model
The course is delivered through 3 hours a week of live, interactive, teaching via Zoom or Microsoft Teams plus coaching from experts as well as virtual classroom and pre-recorded lessons. All teaching is presently delivered remotely and there is an active programme of starts despite Covid-19.
