Our programme has been developed by Beth Crackles and Harpreet Kondel, who have wealth of experience providing both practical and strategic fundraising for various charities, small and large.
Beth has a background in fundraising strategy, planning and income diversification. She has worked at large national charities including RNIB, Stroke Association and Friends of the Earth, as well as with smaller organisations. She has headed up fundraising at Toynbee Hall, securing its first six-figure gifts from individuals and corporates. Beth is now a consultant and trainer, predominantly delivering training via sector membership body, NCVO. Beth has also been a trustee and holds an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management.
Harpreet is a fundraiser with almost three decades of experience in the charity sector, she has acquired her experience working in both charities and agencies. Over the course of her career she has led complex Individual Giving and Legacy programmes and teams, with almost 20 years at the British Red Cross and Barnardo’s and raising more than £600 million to date. In 2017, she set up her own company to offer consultancy and interim support to charities and during this time she has worked at Diabetes UK, Dementia UK, Christian Aid, Animals Asia, Age UK and Mencap amongst others.
Beth and Harpreet are both members of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s National Convention Committee.
The course is delivered through half-day workshops which take place digitally twice each month. This is complemented by expert coaching and high quality online resources.
Teaching is delivered remotely and there is an active programme of starts despite Covid-19. We deliver the programme nationally.
