Mental Health Awareness Level 2
Duration: 8-10 weeks
This NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate aims to raise awareness of mental health and a range of mental health conditions including:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Phobias
- Depression
- Postnatal depression
- Bipolar disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Dementia
- Eating disorders
All work is knowledge-based, and the course can be completed in 8 weeks.
This qualification is designed for anyone who wants to raise their awareness of mental health and the issues that can affect mental well-being.
This training can serve as a stepping stone to further qualifications or employment within health and social care, or to help you develop in your current role within the sector.
Delivery model
The course is delivered through 3 hours a week of live, interactive, teaching via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, plus coaching, virtual classrooms and pre-recorded lessons.
Funding
This course is free for people who meet certain eligibility criteria.
To be eligible for funding you must be:
- Aged 19+
- Resident of a London Borough
- A UK resident for at least 3 consecutive years
- All EEA nationals already in the UK before 31 December 2020 must;
– hold settled status granted under the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), or
– hold pre-settled status granted under the EUSS.
