The JGA Group attends West London Business Awards and receives…

On Thursday 1st February Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson stewarded the great and good of West London’s business community at the impressive West London Business Awards at one of west London’s great icons, Wembley Stadium.

Outside Central London, West London is the UK’s largest business hub and includes much of the UK TV industry, Heathrow, logistics and major corporate headquarters as well as a thriving community of small to medium businesses.

Four of our apprentices were shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year Award and against tough competition the winner was Subhamta Limbu, who despite difficult personal circumstances is now on her third Apprenticeship with us and as a result has developed recognition both personally and professionally but almost out of all, recognition. Three of our other Apprentices Laura Maria, Matthew Williams and Beata Malek were highly commended.

Corporately we were proud to be recognised as 2018 Responsible Workplace of the Year (Highly Commended) and an even bigger achievement, 2018’s Small and Medium Enterprise of the Year (Highly Commended). We don’t like being regarded as an SME though as we see ourselves as a big company in waiting!

This is the fifth year in succession that JGA, its clients, and apprentices have won awards and been recognised in their ongoing success. It is recognition of our determination to build sensibly, to do the right thing by our learners and employers and to help customers to progress in education, work, and life.
