What is it?

Access to Business is a training course to help you get work in today's office.

You can join the Access to Business training course if you live, work or study in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire (including Milton Keynes), Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey or Sussex and you are 19 or over.

Step by step:

• One day a week at the JGA training venue nearest to you
• Independent learning between training days
• A work placement to apply what you learn
• Qualify for the National Diploma in Business
• Advice and support from a Careers Adviser and a Plan of Action for your future at work

How much does it cost?

If you are not in paid work and you are claiming benefits, the Government will pay the full cost of the course through the Learning and Skills Council.

The funding or subsidy for Access to Business is managed through your Adult Learner Account. We will register your Adult Learner Account, which enables you to track how much money is being spent on your training. To find out more about Adult Learner Accounts, click here.
