FREE NVQs in Health and Social Care at Levels 2 and 3 for those who are excluded from Train to Gain

Train to Gain is the government's initiative to upskill Britain's workforce from the bottom up. However, in some sectors, Train to Gain's eligibility restrictions prevent many employers from accessing Train to Gain funding. This includes the Health and Social Care sector, in which the JGA Group has extensive experience.

JGA's new Care to Qualify programme offers Health and Social Care employees the opportunity to undertake an NVQ at Levels 2 and 3 free of charge, even if they are not eligible for Train to Gain.

What is on offer?

Under Care to Qualify, JGA can offer a FREE Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care to:

• those with an existing Level 2 qualification
• those who have lived in the UK for less than 3 years

In the South East (Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex and the Thames Valley), JGA can also offer a FREE Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care to:

• those with an existing Level 3 qualification
• those who have lived in the UK for less than 3 years

This training is free for any Health and Social Care employee who is legally living and working in the UK, provided they work for an organisation which employs less than 250 staff.
