What is it?

The JGA Group can now offer NVQ training in Children's Care, Learning and Development and Playwork. Under Train to Gain, this training is free at Level 2 and subsidised at Level 3.

The National Childminding Association has stated that a relevant qualification at Level 3 should be considered the standard for the industry.

Who is it for?

The NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development is a specific qualification, appropriate to certain aspects of professional children's care.

Suitable candidates include anyone currently working in face-to-face roles with children and families who is responsible for the activity and well-being of children in a professional setting.

This includes:

• creche managers
• after school play clubs
• youth club managers
• young people/children's activities manager

Children's Care, Learning and Development is appropriate for children's care professionals leading structured sessions of directed play and learning designed to develop children's ability to learn and interact with others.

How much does it cost?
